E-Reserve Information and Request Form: E-Reserve

This is E-Reserve information for Faculty and a request form

Additional Information

The standard guidelines for E-Reserve usage are as follows:

  • Under the Fair Use doctrine, articles can be used once per Professor, per course without accruing copyright fees. Once this initial use occurs, every subsequent event will require the Library to investigate the copyright costs of the item.  Please allow time for this to occur. Only 10% of a book can be placed on E-Reserve.  If your students will require more of a work, our Textbook Sharing Program is another viable option.
  • Professors should complete a E-Reserve Package when they are making their requests.
  • This Package includes: A completed E-Reserve request form, a scanned or printed copy of the required text, and your course syllabus.

Request Form

Your completed request form package can either be given directly to the Circulation staff, or it can be emailed to us here.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
