American Association of Philosophy Teachers
Since its beginning in the late 1970s, the mission of the AAPT has been to advocate for high-quality philosophy teaching.
American Catholic Philosophical Association
Since 1926, scholars and thinkers, mostly based in Canada and the United States, have forged a unique tradition and community known as the “American Catholic Philosophical Association.”
American Philosophical Association (APA)
The American Philosophical Association promotes the discipline and profession of philosophy, both within the academy and in the public arena. The APA supports the professional development of philosophers at all levels and works to foster greater understanding and appreciation of the value of philosophical inquiry.
American Society for Political and Legal Philosophy
The American Society for Political and Legal Philosophy (ASPLP) was begun in 1955 by Carl Friedrich to bring together scholars in political science, law, and philosophy who are interested in interdisciplinary exploration of a range of problems in political and legal philosophy.

Hume Society
Founded in 1974, the Hume Society is an international organization of scholars from dozens of countries. Its purpose is to stimulate scholarship on all aspects of the thought and writings of David Hume, the 18th-century Scottish philosopher, historian and essayist.
International Simone de Beauvoir Society
The International Simone de Beauvoir Society provides a forum for researchers interested in the works of Simone de Beauvoir. As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, all resources are used to advance the mission to promote the legacy of Simone de Beauvoir.

The British Philosophy of Sport Association (BPSA)
Our purpose is to provide avenues and opportunities for those interested in philosophical issues in sport; to present their ideas and network with others. Philosophy of Science Association
Founded in 1933, the Philosophy of Science Association promotes research, teaching, and free discussion of issues in the philosophy of science from diverse standpoints. To this end, the PSA engages in activities such as: the publishing of periodicals, essays and monographs; sponsoring conventions and meetings; and awarding prizes for distinguished work in the field.
