When you encounter a problem, something doesn't work as expected, you receive an error message that can't be explained, missing or incorrectly formatted data, etc., please send the following information to Adam and/or Lauren. We will then collect issues and send them to Matt P. and/or Heidi B., who will triage, answer questions, and forward to Ex Libris if needed:
- Describe the problem that you have found.
- Include the Alma record identifier for the problem (e.g., MMSID, PO Line #) or create a Set (logical or itemized) in Alma and share the name of the problem set.
- Include the Sierra record identifier for the original data (e.g., bib#, order#, patron record etc.).
- Identify the area of Alma that you are using (e.g., Resource Management, Fulfillment).
- Identify the location you have selected to work from in Alma (i.e. Circ Desk, Tech Services).
- Identify your user login name and user role(s), if known.
- Describe what you expected to see instead of the problem.
- Provide the Alma Error number and error reference id, if displayed.
- If you can provide a screen shot(s) or screen capture of the issue, that's very helpful.
