Floor Information
Library Director's office (room G302) - access via Administrative services office (G301) or Technical services (G303).
Administrative Services Coordinator's office (room G301)- consult here about student assistant hiring, and other issues involving the library space.
Special Collections are housed in Room 324 at the top of the main staircase.
Down the corridor from Special Collections, theGraduate Student Lounge is available for study, conversation, or a break between classes. The key for this room is available at the Help Desk (2nd floor).
The main feature of the Breen wing on this level is the Muer Room, a large and comfortable space with lots of natural light for quiet reading and study. The St. Francis Xavier Spiritual Reading Corner is at the far end.
The Interfaith Prayer Room (currently unavailable due to construction) is a reservable space open to all faiths. Please check out the key at the Library Help Desk on the Main floor.
The McDonough Room is a recently renovated area for quiet study. JCU masters' theses and papers are also housed here.
Restrooms - all gender single-stall restrooms are located along the far West wall of Breen on every floor. Additional restrooms are at the back of the second level Grasselli side, on the first level near the bottom of the main stairway, and on the 3rd level near the top of the main stairway.
Microforms: Please ask at the circulation desk for access. Microfilms are kept in Special Collections, and a microform reader is located in the technical services department on this floor.
