The library is continually striving to provide information resources that students and faculty need to support learning and teaching goals, while remaining within our budget. This year we were able to support the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with new journals in the medical and nursing field, in addition to the many medical and nursing resources we already provided. We also added Academic Videos Online (AVON), which provides a wealth of video content for higher education use.
Composed of about 100 core nursing and allied health scholarly journals, published by Lippincott, Williams, & Wilkins and hosted on the search platform Ovid. All of these titles are fully indexed in the CINAHL database also.
Streaming service for video content spanning a wide range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more.
A growing majority of the library's resources are online, accessible 24 hours a day from any location. This frees physical space to refocus on new services and functions within the library.
