Academic Year 2022-2023 Summary

Returning in Person, Expanding Online

In the academic year of 2022-2023, John Carroll University welcomed students back to a mostly in-person experience, while still offering some online accommodations when necessary. Grasselli Library and Breen Learning Center was busier than ever as students visited to study, use library resources, check out equipment, and attend events. Faculty librarians, staff, and student employees assisted our users in discovering and accessing the library's print and online collections. Supporting emotional wellness through planned events, collections, and spaces is also a focus of the library. Throughout the year, the library strives to connect students to the people, services, and resources needed to achieve their academic goals. This guide features some of the library's highlights from the year.
