There are several digital equipment options that are offered for check-out, from high end cameras to podcasting microphones. Visit the technology website to view the full list. You can either make an equipment request through our online order form, or feel free to stop by the Library Help Desk to check item availability.
We offer laptops for checkout at the Library Help Desk Desk. They can be checked out for 2 weeks with 1 renewal. Microsoft Office Suite is included with each laptop. Please sign into the laptop with your JCU single sign on, and sign into the Eduroam network. The Library reserves the right to limit or deny laptop checkouts based on excessive fines or overdue/missing items.
You can reserve study rooms for your group projects or study sessions. We use the same system to reserve rooms that the rest of campus does - CourseDog. Here's a link to the library's current room schedule and availability (please sign in with your JCU single sign on). If you would like to reserve a room, you'll still go through the process (Home -> Request an event-> and set up the details), and you'll get approved!
Go Green with our Kic Scanners, located near the Reference Printing Station. Scan documents or photos and send them to your e-mail or save them on a flash drive.
The Library offers leisure collections for student enjoyment, which are located in the lobby near the Help Desk.
If you've graduated, don't worry, you still have access to our great collection of books. Visit the Alumni Card office on the 3rd floor of Rodman (Room 341) to receive your card. Questions?
