Place JCU items and personal copies on closed reserve for your students. These items can be checked out for 2 (3 for longer films) hours. Here is some more information and a request form.
There are several digital equipment options that are offered for check-out, from high end cameras to podcasting microphones. Visit the technology website to view the full list. You can either make an equipment request through our online order form, or feel free to stop by the Library Help Desk to check item availability.
Place articles and book chapters on a password protected website for your students to access. The Library must determine the copyright status and/or costs of each item, so please take this workflow into consideration when assigning these materials to your class. Follow the link below for more information and for the request form.
Faculty members can request JCU items from our catalog and we will place the item behind the Library Help Desk for pickup. Or if you are part of the Library Express, it will be delivered to your office.
Using Carrolline, find the item that you are looking for and select Request. Just verify your user information and we will send you an email when the item is ready.
If you would like an electronic copy of article that Grasselli Library has in print through our periodicals collections or a book chapter from a book we own, you may request it by signing it to your Interlibrary Loan account and submitting the citation information.
Grasselli Library will deliver all of your requested materials directly to your office. Please contact us (circulation@jcu.edu) to sign-up and your delivery service will be begin immediately. No weather will keep us from our appointed rounds.
Retired Faculty members retain Library borrowing privileges, including Ohiolink and Interlibrary Loan. Please contact the Access Services Department to get started on creating an account.
